Content & Listing Guidelines

1. Purpose of These Guidelines
These guidelines apply to all information submitted to the Los Cabos App, including business and event listings, images, descriptions, and other user content.
These guidelines help ensure App information is accurate, relevant, and helpful to users exploring Los Cabos and the surrounding areas.
By submitting content, you agree to these guidelines and our terms and conditions.
2. Accuracy of Information
Submit only accurate and truthful listings and information.
You must not submit content that contains:
- false or misleading information
- incorrect business contact details
- fake or non-existent events
- misleading promotions or pricing
- impersonation of another business or organisation
Update your listing if any information changes.
3. Acceptable Listings
List only legitimate businesses, organisations, or events relevant to Los Cabos.
Examples include:
- restaurants and cafés
- tours and activities
- local attractions
- community or cultural events
- local services
- shops and entertainment venues
We will remove listings unrelated to the App’s purpose.
4. Prohibited Content
- Do not submit illegal services or activities.
- fraudulent businesses
- misleading or deceptive information
- offensive or abusive language
- discriminatory or hateful content
- explicit or adult material
- spam or repetitive promotional submissions
- content that violates applicable laws
We will remove such content without notice.
5. Images and Media
Images submitted to the App must:
- accurately represent the business or event
- not infringe copyright or intellectual property rights
- not contain offensive or explicit content
- not include misleading promotional overlays or unrelated graphics
You must have the legal right to use and submit any images.
6. User Content Licence
By submitting content, you confirm your legal right to share it.
You grant ‘At Los Cabos App’ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in the App and related services for platform operation and promotion.
7. Moderation
We review and moderate all submitted content.
We may:
- edit listings for formatting or clarity
- remove duplicate listings
- remove outdated information
- remove listings that violate these guidelines
- suspend accounts that repeatedly submit inappropriate content
We do not guarantee any listing will be published or maintained.
8. Reporting Listings
Report listings that are inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or fraudulent.
Reports help maintain the reliability and quality of information within the App.
9. Featured Listings
Some listings within the App may appear as Featured placements.
Featured listings may involve promotional or paid arrangements and do not necessarily represent endorsements by the App.
10. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these guidelines to maintain platform quality and integrity.
Continued submission of content indicates acceptance of the updated guidelines.
